Drum machines don't need soul if you got it.

So lately I've been thinking about these fucking shit heads with the sticker 'drum machines have no soul' Why? what a broad generalization first off, but you'd think a real musician would be the source of the soul of his music not his instrument! So how the fuck do you get off suggesting that soul is derived from a man made instrument and not the man.
For instance, a singers instrument is her vocal chords and mouth and such, but the sound, the melody and the emotion are coming from somewhere we cannot even explain.

Secondly have you heard how varied Producers can sound even when using the same drum programming machines????? The only way an instrument can create that kind of diversity in sound and style, would be if it was just a vessel for something deep inside us all?

So before you buy a bumper sticker, think about the fucking message you're backing!
